City Lake Arboretum

Certified by the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council in 2018 the City Lake Arboretum boasts  30 species of trees labeled along the paved trail. Located off Bridgeway Drive in Cookeville TN, City Lake has been a long time favorite spot among fishermen and nature enthusiasts. A short trail takes walkers past a historic structure toward the invigorating sight of cascading waters. Arboretum labels follow the trail allowing walkers to observe abundant wild life, and native plants in a nearly untouched area of Cookeville.
