[ARCHIVED] Road Improvements Survey

Putnam County Outline

Below you will find a link to the June 2018 Putnam County Transportation Improvements Survey.  In late 2017, Putnam County Executive Randy Porter formed The Putnam County Joint Transportation Committee.  The Committee is composed of elected officials, engineers and planners representing Putnam County, the Towns of Algood, Baxter and Monterey, and the City of Cookeville. The purpose of the Committee is to develop a comprehensive, multi-jurisdictional transportation improvement plan. Over the past several months the committee has met to identify transportation improvement needs for the county and its four (4) municipalities. The identified needs consist of projects that would be wholly state funded, state and local funded, and wholly locally funded. To determine which of these projects are the most important to the citizens of Putnam County, the Committee elected to utilize a survey to solicit public input. This survey deals improvement projects that would be state funded and projects that would be a combination of state and local funding.

We encourage you to participate in the survey and want you to know that your opinion matters.  If you do not have access to participate in the survey online, please contact the Cookeville Planning Department at (931) 520-5271 or the Putnam County Executive’s Office at (931) 526-2161, and accommodations will be made to provide you with a copy of the survey.
