Performing Arts Center
The Cookeville Performing Arts Center (CPAC) is a 456 seat live performance theatre owned by the City of Cookeville and operated by the Department of Leisure Services. The facility was built with Model Cities grant money and opened in August 1979. CPAC houses the Margery Hargrove Auditorium, named in 1989 for the First Lady of Theatre in the area.
5! …THANK YOU, 5
Live Theatre Returns to CPAC!
Show dates: June 6 and 7
The Cookeville Performing Arts Center will broadcast an evening of five ten-minute plays. Due to unique social distancing challenges affecting our lives (and this performance), each one-act has been carefully selected and staged and will be presented online only. Our director and actors will consist of CPAC staff along with their spouse/life partner. Ticket information will be available on May 26.
We at CPAC are sad to report that the facility will be closed through the end of April for all events and performances. If you have purchased tickets for events in this time frame, an email will be sent with information regarding refunds.
We realize that this is unprecedented, unexpected, and disappointing but, the top priority right now is public health and safety. I am hopeful that this crisis will pass quickly and we will see you at the theatre in the near future.

In addition, CPAC is the home of Cookeville Children’s Theatre productions, the WCTE Great TV Auction, dance performances, concerts, film screenings, and variety of events.
