The Special Operations Group (SOG) is comprised of:

Duties

The Special Operations Group is utilized to respond to unique or high risk situations in which specialized training and equipment is required. Examples of these situations include:

High Risk Arrests and Drug Raids
Sniper Situations
Suicidal Individuals
Warrant Service

Officers in this group participate in SOG in addition to their regular duties as patrol officers, detectives, and supervisors.
