COOKEVILLE – Take a hike – a history hike, that is.
Cookeville Leisure Services’ History Hikes are held the second Saturday of each month, April through August and in October. They are free, fun and family-friendly.
To get started, participants may stop by either the Cookeville History Museum or Cookeville Depot Museum between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to enjoy refreshments and get an entry form with trivia questions to be answered during the hike between the two museums along Broad Street. Each museum will have a different entry form, and participants may participate in both hikes. Completed forms are due back by 3:30 p.m. and will be included in a prize drawing.
For more information, call the Cookeville History Museum at 931-520-5455 or the Cookeville Depot at 931-528-8570.
