Cyclists enjoy the new mountain bike trail at Cane Creek Park.

Cane Creek Park is a 262-acre regional park that contains three picnic shelters, play equipment, 56-acre lake, two fishing piers, paddleboat rentals and concession stand (which are open in season), walking trails, basketball and volleyball courts and an 18-hole disc golf course. Cane Creek Park is located at 201 C C Camp Road. You can call the park office at 526-6668. To make a shelter reservation, call the administrative office at 520-4386, visit the office at Cookeville City Hall or reserve online.

½ hour rentals $3 (2-seat) or $4 (4-seat).
*Children 12 & under must wear a life jacket and have adult in the boat with them.
Athletic equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, disc golf discs and fishing poles can be rented at the concession stand for $1 per hour.
Shelter Rentals:
Hilltop & Courtside Shelters – both fit up to 100 people – can be rented for $10 per hour;  Lakeview Shelter – fits up to 50 people – can be rented for $8 per hour.
Each shelter has at least one charcoal grill and a 110-volt outlet for small appliances only.  The shelters can be reserved online, at the Cookeville Leisure Services Administrative office in City Hall or by calling 520-4FUN.  The reserving party is expected to leave the area reasonably clean and to place all trash in cans.
The lake, well stocked with rainbow trout, large-mouth bass, bluegill, crappie, carp and catfish, is popular with fisherman. There is a boat ramp for non-motorized and electric-powered boats. No gas motors are allowed on the lake. Park patrons must abide by TN State Fishing laws. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency requires that everyone age 13 to 84 have a valid TN Fishing License to fish. They will periodically check those fishing at Cane Creek Park to make sure they are in accordance with the law.

Dogs and other pets taken to the park will be subject to the leash law of the City of Cookeville. We also ask that you please respect others and the park by picking up after
your pet. Waste stations are placed around the park for your convenience. Please note, animals are not allowed at the Cane Creek SportsPlex.
Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in the park.
