Summer Camp

May 22 through the start of the Putnam County school year

6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Registration for Cookeville Leisure Services’ summer camp opens April 17. Please note that we have made some changes to our registration and enrollment procedures. This year, campers will need to pick up a registration form (see below) and complete an enrollment calendar at the Cane Creek Recreation Center. Online registration is not available. Registration is $25 per child. Weekly camp rates have changed to $80, and daily rates remain $20 per day. Space is limited, and drop-in care is no longer available. For more information, call 931-526-7393 and view the handbook below.

Our popular summer camp program at the Cane Creek Recreation Center is open to children who have completed kindergarten up to age 12. The recreation center will be open to campers Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Campers will have a summer of fun with crafts, activities and a different theme each week. They’ll spend time at the Cane Creek Recreation Center and Gymnasium, Cane Creek Park and go on field trips to the swimming pool.

Campers should wear clothes and shoes they can play in comfortably and bring a water bottle labeled with their name. They may bring their own lunch or have lunch provided by the Putnam County School Nutrition Program. Morning and afternoon snacks are also provided.
